Small buildings that can sit outside the Regulations
Schedule 2 to the Regulations lists classes of building that are exempt. A detached building of 15m2 or less with no sleeping accommodation is one. A ground-level conservatory, porch, covered yard or carport open on two sides, up to 30m2, is another, provided the other conditions in the class are met.
